Two infants die while in daycare

 KUALA LUMPUR: Two infants died while under the care of their minders in Taman Permata Ampang.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Amiruddin Jamaluddin said the infants died 10 minutes apart at 1pm yesterday.
The first baby who died was Muzaffar Mohd Faizal, three-and-a-half-month-old, and the second was seven-month-old Hariz.
Muzaffar’s father Mohd Faizal, 32, said he received the tragic news from his wife at 3pm on the death of their young child.
He was working in Kedah and rushed back to Kuala Lumpur after receiving the call.
Hariz’s grandfather Abdul Aziz, 51, said he received the call from his daughter at 4pm about the death of the baby. He added that his grandson was rushed to a nearby clinic in Taman Permata, and then transferred to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
Hariz, he said, died while being rushed to hospital.
